Designing the Brand
The Sports Charitable Trust brand identity is based on the idea of freedom. For me when I think about someone suffering from a serious injury, all I can imagine is that the primary focus must be to be free from the injury, free to go home, free to play sport again, free to feel normal again. The human icon in this identity with wings symbolises this freedom from an injury. I understand that a person may never be free from their injury but it’s all about working towards the best situation for the person and their family. I wanted to create a brand that would look inspirational to sportspeople. Everyone in sport wants to reach new heights in performance and hopefully will relate to how important supporting those who have suffered a life changing injury need the support from everyone in the sport community.Thomas Moynihan from Greenhouse.
